About this Course
<p>Our N4 program focuses on enhancing the student's ability to understand more complex sentence structures and natural-speed Japanese. We place a heavy emphasis on the vocabulary and grammar required for the JFT-Basic and JLPT N4 exams, which are mandatory requirements for many SSW job categories. This course ensures you don't just pass the test, but actually communicate effectively with Japanese colleagues.</p><p><u><b>The N4 curriculum advances through the following key modules:</b></u></p><ol><li>Expanded Writing & Kanji: Mastery of approximately 300 Kanji characters, focusing on those found in public signs, workplace safety manuals, and schedules.</li><li>Advanced Grammar: Learning more complex verb conjugations (Passive, Causative, and Conditional forms) and the ability to link multiple ideas in a single sentence.</li><li>Listening for Daily Life: Developing the ear to understand conversations in "Natural Speed" regarding shopping, medical visits, and office tasks.</li><li>Reading Comprehension: Practice reading short essays, emails, and news articles written with N4-level vocabulary and Kanji.</li><li>SSW Specific Practice: Integration of technical vocabulary used in industries like Construction, Caregiving, and Agriculture to help students clear the SSW Skill Tests.</li></ol><p><b><u>Source San</u></b></p><ul><li>Primary Textbook: Minna no Nihongo Shokyu II (Lessons 26–50).</li><li>Supplementary Material: Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan (Elementary 2).</li><li>Exam Prep: Official JLPT N4 Question Bank and JFT-Basic Sample tests.</li><li>Digital Learning: Advanced video lessons from our "Our Japanese Language Classroom" platform.</li></ul>
